Following in the footsteps of the mighty Massey Ferguson® 8600, the 7600 Series tractors provide best-in-class fuel efficiency, enhanced productivity and increased comfort.
In the years since they were introduced, Massey Ferguson 8600 Series high-horsepower tractors have scored highly in independent tests, such as those held at the University of Nebraska Tractor Test Lab. The tractors have also won over farmers who formerly ran other colors.
Now, producers can have the same level of performance, economy and technology in the all-new Massey Ferguson 7600 Series row-crop tractors.
Positioned as a replacement for the Massey Ferguson 6400 and 7400 Series, the Massey Ferguson 7600 Series features four new models with 170 to 225 engine horsepower (140 to 180 pto hp). The series also offers many of the same innovative features as the Massey Ferguson 8600 tractors, including best-in-class fuel economy.
“This new series offers some significant enhancements in the areas of power, emissions compliance, versatility and comfort,” says Mike Alvin, Massey Ferguson’s manager of marketing for high-horsepower tractors. “New styling on the 7600 Series also gives this tractor the look of its bigger brother,” he adds. “That includes a redesigned cab for improved comfort and visibility, and a sleek, narrow-waist, one-piece hood that offers cleaner lines and easier servicing.”
The Massey Ferguson 7600 Series is unique, though, in the availability of three distinct editions—Classic, Deluxe and Premium.
The Classic edition comes standard with the field-proven, 24-speed Dyna-6 semi-powershift, while the Deluxe and Premium editions are available with either the Dyna-6 or Dyna-VT CVT transmission with Dynamic Tractor Management. By providing greater communication between the engine and gearbox, the DTM system automatically adjusts engine speed to the load for more consistent power to the ground and improved fuel efficiency.
The Premium edition also gives producers the latest in technology at the touch of a button via a new multipad control and multifunction joystick. Together, the two controls incorporate buttons and switches for hydraulics, pto, speed control, shuttle shifting and three-point hitch, providing the ultimate in efficiency.
