Tim Tabbert doesn’t have farmhands to help with chores, which means he relies on his equipment to run a 115-acre farm, feedlot and manure-spreading business in Foresters Falls, Ontario.

“Even though it’s a small operation, I need the equipment to run it,” says the normally taciturn farmer. Tabbert relies on several AGCO brands, including Massey Ferguson® and White tractors. He also owns a corn planter, disc mower-conditioners and other equipment from AGCO-owned brands. “These machines have lasted a long time and still get the job done,” he says.

Since a lot of his equipment is older, Tabbert relies on the local AGCO dealership, Elliott Farm Equipment, to find parts and do the repairs he can’t handle himself.

Tabbert has such an affinity for AGCO equipment that he chose his vintage Cockshutt 70 as his wedding vehicle. After he married Connie in 2008, the newlyweds hopped on the tractor—emblazoned with “Just Married” on the back of the machine—and drove down the road.
