These new snow blowers are designed to be perfect matches for the horsepower and weight of the growing line of Massey Ferguson utility tractors. The MF1680 offers a working width of 80.5 inches and is a great fit with either the 4700 Series or 4600M Series tractors. Meanwhile, the new MF1692 snow blower, which offers a 92.5-inch cutting width, also works well with these two tractor series, and can be paired with the new 100- to 130-HP 5700 and 6700 Series tractors. Of course, for the ultimate snow removal package, the MF1692 can be mounted to the rear 3-point hitch on the premium 100- to 130-HP 5700SL Series.

“We’re excited to finally offer a commercial-grade snow blower for our Massey Ferguson utility and midrange tractors,” says Rex Edmunds, North American strategic marketing manager for low-horsepower tractors. “Whether the operator is clearing a road, driveway or the whole farmyard, these machines are built to move large amounts of snow in a short time.”

Both models feature a large-diameter auger—20 inches on the MF1680 and 23 inches on the MF1692—constructed of high-carbon steel for extra durability, along with a four-blade impeller for maximum efficiency. The three-part snow chute on both models also features hydraulically actuated rotation and chute deflector position for convenient control from the tractor seat. “Customers can count on a long service life too,” Edmunds adds. “In addition to rugged construction, the skid shoes are both adjustable and replaceable, while the cutting edge can be reversed and eventually replaced.”
